Ayala Ahdoot's Renaissance personage assignment



William Shakespeare was by far one of the most important people from the Renaissance who contributed to the modern world. His contributions to literature and the English language make him so. Shakespeare, being one very famous neologist, contributed to the English language by adding two thousand words. His addition to the English language has actually made English one of the most significant and universal languages in the world. Shakespeare’s plays and poems are considered extraordinary because of their beautiful language and their insightful depiction of human feeling and behavior. His unique poems and plays are still being read by people throughout the world.

Another important figure in the Renaissance who is also important to the modern world is Christopher Columbus. Christopher Columbus's accidental discovery of the Americas is what has led to one of the most successful and powerful countries in the modern world. Columbus’s existence in the age of exploration is what motivated him to sail across the ocean and discover a new route. The motivation that Columbus possessed is the motivation of the American people. The ambitions that the American people have are what lead them to their inventions, contributions, and explorations of science and technology in the modern world. Christopher Columbus's ambition for exploration is what opened the path to one of the impressive countries in the world.
